The Basic Natural Perfumery Course begins late February, 2010
Entry-level, comprehensive and the foundation for advanced studies in perfumery.

There are additional materials including bottles, lab glassware, tools, etc. that are needed for the course. A complete list is provided before you begin your studies. Estimated cost: $150.
A Certificate of Completion in Basic Natural Perfumery is issued upon submittal of the successful final essay and perfume.
There is a small fee for the review and certificate.
Natural Perfumers Guild members receive 5% discount on tuition.
Red Frangipanis in Anya's Garden
The Anya's Garden Natural Perfumery Institute aromatics kit is available for $225, plus shipping. This is mandatory for the course due to the study criteria.
There are twenty-four 4ml bottles of essential oils and absolutes in the kit, packed in a wooden box.
There is a list of necessary class materials including glassware, scent strips, etc. You will receive the list and suggestions for suppliers at least a month in advance of the course beginning, and it is strongly recommended you obtain them before classes begin.
The tuition is non-refundable due to the educational materials being made available to the students from the beginning of the course and the limited number of students in the course.

Major Interactive Component:
The Interactive one-hour chats are conducted in a Yahoo group and consist of a real-time meeting where questions and answers can be addressed for the current module.
They will be held on the 14th day of March, April, May, June, July and August of 2010. Please check that those dates do not interfere with your work, religion, or holiday schedule.
Chats are held at 5 PM EST, United States. For example, if you are in the Western Pacific, Australia, Singapore, Japan and so on, you will need to get up in the early morning hours to participate. If you are in Europe, it will be late evening for you. Many students have been able to make this schedule, but please confirm you can before you sign up for the Interactive Course option.
If you miss the chat, you can ask the instructor questions in the Yahoo group later that same week.
Former students love the chats because they bonded with the instructor and the other students, and were able to assist each other with suppliers, observations, feedback, and more.
This year we will try to schedule a Skype chat so that we can all talk to each other in real time. Please sign up for a Skype account now if you are registering for the course so you can become familiar with it before classes begin.
