The Basic Natural Perfumery Course

Entry-level, comprehensive and the foundation for advanced studies in perfumery.

Tuition for Web-Based Study:

$2500 for One Year Enrollment

Additional Expenses:

$225 for the aromatics study kit and (not included in the cost of the tuition) Contains 24 essences.

$150 for supplemental aromatics kit of 60 essences in 2ml bottles. This is needed for Module 2. If you do not have an extensive perfumers organ when class starts, you will need this. Please inventory your palette of aromatics and forward it to the Instructor.

$150 - $200. There are additional materials including bottles, lab glassware, a scale, and other items that are needed for the course. A complete list is provided before you begin your studies.

The deposits and tuition are non-refundable.

$75 fee for the perfume review and certificate of completion. A Certificate of Completion in Basic Natural Perfumery is issued upon submittal of the successful final essay and perfume.

The Aromatic Study Kits

The Anya's Garden Natural Perfumery Institute aromatics kit is available for $225, plus shipping. This is mandatory for the course due to the study criteria. There are twenty-five 4ml bottles of essential oils and absolutes in the kit, packed in a wooden box. Several of the more precious oils, such as Rose de Mai, are diluted in order to maintain a reasonable cost.

The second kit that you must purchase if you do not have an extensive selection of aromatics is provided by Eden Botanicals or a supplier of your choice. You will be mailed a list of suggested aromatics to compare against your perfume organ materials. The kit from Eden is $150 for 60 aromatics in 1 or 2 millileter bottles.
